Our experienced Chiropractors provide a diverse approach to care. Unlike traditional Chiropractic approaches, they primarily utilize a variety of effective soft tissue techniques while using gentle manipulations when needed. The offer additional training in ART® (Active Release Technique), Activator®, Webster Technique for Prenatal and Postpartum conditions, Birth Fit, Graston Technique, Medical Acupuncture, and Exercise Rehabilitation.

Active Release Techniques (ART)
-is commonly used for overuse injuries, especially stubborn chronic musculoskeletal injuries. In areas where scar tissue has
developed creating restricted mobility, ART is beneficial in reducing pain and restoring joint range of motion. This myofascial technique is performed by applying specific pressure in the affected muscle belly, tendon, or ligament and passively allowing the joint to move through its range of motion. Thereby reducing tension and restriction and promoting efficient healing of the tissues.

Activator
-is a chiropractic technique utilizing a hand-held instrument providing gentle, yet precise adjustments. “The
Activator Method® is one of the most widely studied chiropractic technique and
the only instrument adjusting technique with clinical trials to support its efficacy”

Graston Technique
-is an effective treatment addressing scar tissue and fascial restrictions for chronic soft-tissue injuries and post-surgical scars. While using a specialized sculpted tool to reduce pain, and restore range of motion.

”Chiropractic care is a drug-free, non-invasive treatment supporting the body’s musculoskeletal (MSK) system and associated neurological function, primarily by providing comprehensive, evidence-informed manual therapy. Chiropractic care is a hands-on, non-invasive and drugless practice that is safe and effective for the management of musculoskeletal conditions – from small children to elderly adults to pregnant women to Olympic athletes” as per the Canadian Chiropractic Association.

Reflexology is a non-invasive therapeutic treatment that applies pressure to specific reflex points in the feet. Based on the principles that these reflexes correspond to areas of the body including glands, and organs. Treatment stimulates nerves in the feet which send calming messages to the Central Nervous System, promoting a parasympathetic response (Rest and Restore phase). During this phase it is when a state of balance occurs, and healing can take place.

Reflexology is beneficial in promoting relaxation, reducing stress and anxiety, increasing circulation, enhancing sleep, and relieving pain.
